Аннотация: The article is devoted to the problems of legal regulation of exclusive objects of jurisdiction and powers of the constituent subjects of the Russian Federation. The author then comes to a conclusion that it’s necessary to provide for powers of the subjects in their constitutions (Ustavs). The author also proposes to amend the Federal Law “On general principles of organization of legislative (representative) and executive bodies of the state power of the subjects of the Russian Federation”, in order to allow the regional legislators to provide for exclusive powers of constituent subjects in their constitutions (Ustavs).
